Beauty, in all of its facets, proposed by the voice of actor Giancarlo Giannini as the <em>fil rouge<\/em> of a touristic offer oriented to the discovery of the charms of Marche. And in Macerata raises the Sferisterio, a spectacular architectural structure, built in 1820 with all acoustic expedients needed to host musical and opera events. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Stupor Mundi<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Beauty can also be found in a most up-to-date digital museum created to tell the story of emperor Frederick II: an original path, a journey through time and space meant to celebrate the great emperor who was born in Jesi, \u201can exemplar City\u201d. From Urbino, an UNESCO World Heritage Site, the hometown (along with Florence) of Renaissance which in art has been an image of beauty, to the archaeological discovery of the gilded Bronzes in Cartoceto di Pergola, to the Domus of Myth in Sant\u2019Angelo in Vado, to Forum Sempronii, today\u2019s Fossombrone, rich with art, history, culture and&#8230; gastronomy, to \u2013 last but not least \u2013 the Rocca Roveresca (Della Rovere Fortress) in Mondavio, one of the most beautiful hamlets in Italy. This editorial project, commissioned by the Pesaro and Urbino branch of Confcommercio (Association of Merchants), was meant to tell and promote an immense patrimony of beauty thus enhancing the economic and touristic chances of the territory, which thus, to quote Dante Alighieri, \u201cmay better spread its wings to a daring flight\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/www.whymarche.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/20150228-103703-_B156860-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13204\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.whymarche.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/20150228-103703-_B156860-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.whymarche.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/20150228-103703-_B156860-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.whymarche.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/20150228-103703-_B156860-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.whymarche.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/20150228-103703-_B156860-1536x1024.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/www.whymarche.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/20150228-103703-_B156860-566x377.jpg 566w, https:\/\/www.whymarche.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/20150228-103703-_B156860.jpg 1920w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 959px) 688px, 768px\" \/><figcaption>Genga, Ponte Romano di San Vittore<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A natural inclination to slow tourism.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The geographical beauty, the abundance\nof art treasures, the inheritance of ancient civilizations, delicious\ntraditional and prized food and wine, artisanal products and high quality\nproducts, resilience in the hamlets, places of silence, roads and trails, the\nnice weather and much more are elements which lead visitors of our territory to\nlive it quietly following the new slow travel trend. Since a few years, in\nfact, tourism is undergoing a trend reversal. Quick \u201chit and run\u201d mass tourism\nis being replaced by an approach whereby tourists are capable of appreciating\nthe \u201cgenius loci\u201d (the spirit of the place), establish friendly relationships\nwith residents and become actors of local everyday life, thus showing also that\nthey care for the environment and its protection. Gardner (2009) resumes this\nway the main principles of this kind of touring and experiences:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Slow tourism is a state of mind;<\/li><li>Tourists should travel slow and abstain from air flights;<\/li><li>Journeys are an integral part of a touristic experience;<\/li><li>Places matter;<\/li><li>Slowing down to admire a city or a landscape is a key element;<\/li><li>Culture and involvement with local residents make a holiday better;<\/li><li>Tourists should profit from unexpected events;<\/li><li>Offering to local communities is an integral part of the journey.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Four are the pillars: slowness and value of time, destination and <em>in loco<\/em> activities, means of transport and\nexperiences, ethics of environmental protection. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A healthier and more concrete tourism capable of looking for quality and\nexperiences (such as the extraction of \u201cformaggio di fossa\u201d from its aging\nhole, an unforgettable experience to many foreigners, or \u201cfarmer-like\nholidays\u201d, where tourists get busy collecting fruits, milk cows and learn how\ncheese and biological wine are produced), as well as knowledge and discovery of\nbiological and zero-kilometres food. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What matters is stimulating, thrilling and involving.
